This figure - a symbol of the Roman legion, was presented to Prince Sviatoslav, who was returning from a campaign in Kyiv and was killed by the Pechenegs in the Dnipro rapids. The famous archaeological monument of Ancient history is the Voznesenivskyi complex - a land-based stone structure with a treasure of the late 17th - early 18th century. Archaeologists found most of the artifacts in 1929 (horse harness, silver figures of an eagle and a lion, four iron swords inlaid with gold).
