On the western coast of Khortytsia Island in 1935, while constructing a sanatorium for the Zaporizhstal plant, two picturesque pavilions were built. During the war, most of the health resort complex and one of the pavilions were destroyed, but miraculously, one survived.
From here, an incredible and picturesque view of the riverbed, the cliffs on the right bank, and the island of Baida, which separates the channel of the Old Dnipro River, opens up. You can also see incredible sunsets when the evening sky is beautifully reflected in the water.
The pavilion immediately became a favorite resting place for many residents and guests of our city. Newlyweds often come here on their wedding day, which has already become a good tradition. The pavilion has become known locally as the "Swallow's Nest", in analogy with the famous Crimean landmark.
