There are no random stories in this war. There are stories of those who go out every day to meet danger so that others can sleep peacefully.
There are those who do the impossible silently — without words, simply because they cannot do otherwise.
There are those who still stand where it is most difficult. Stand — despite fatigue, pain, and lack of strength.
This day is not about celebration.
This day is about gratitude. About memory.
About the strength that holds the country together when it seems that there is no more hope. About those who stand guard over our peace. And about those who will never be returned. Those whose names will forever remain in our memory.
In every city, there are houses where empty chairs stand — places that await those who never returned.
And we will remember each and every one who gave their lives so that we could have a “tomorrow.”
Defenders, we are infinitely grateful to you for your titanic work, for your sleepless nights, endurance and indomitability. For the fact that we can be here - at home.
Eternal memory and endless respect to those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Strength, resilience and encouragement to all defenders.
We remember. We are proud. We continue to fight, because we must endure.
